BOONE — Following approval on Friday morning by the IHSAA’s Board of Control, district tournament assignments for the 2026 wrestling postseason are now available. District tournaments for all three classes are currently scheduled for Saturday, February 14.

As in past seasons, there will be 24 qualifiers from each weight class in each class that will advance to the 2026 IHSAA State Wrestling Tournament. District tournaments in Class 2A and Class 1A feature 12 sites, with the top two place-winners at each weight advancing to state. The top three place-winners will advance in Class 3A.

Coverage area schools Cherokee Washington will be competing in Class 2A District 9. MMCRU will be in Class 1A District 12. Ridge View is set to host Class 1A District 8
