Iowa State players have voted and elected NOT to play in a bowl game this season. They give a number of reasons. First, they just lost their head coach. Second, the ability to have enough healthy players for the bowl game. This comes at a price. The Big 12 Conference has fined Iowa State $500,000 for failing to fulfill its contractual obligations. It was a terrible weekend for Iowa State. The Cyclone basketball team goes on the road and blows out #1 Purdue. Will the Cyclones be in the top 5 when the new poll comes out? We think they should be!
