Jeff is an lifelong sports fan who worked in newsprint sports media for over three decades across all part of Iowa (Northeast, Central, and Northwest Iowa where he calls home. Jeff has won numerous INA (Iowa Newspaper Association) awards for writing, photography, and best sports pages. Now retired due to health, Jeff spends time during summer months watching baseball -- his favorite sports and the Minnesota Twins his favorite team since 1972. Jeff is also a Minnesota Timberwolves and Green Bay Packer fan. He is the grandfather of two (Arleigh, Aloni), father of two (Ashley, Alex) and brother to two (Jean, Jenni).
