For 40 seasons, he was the voice of Twins baseball, now Dick Bremer joins Twins’ Hall of Fame

WDIO, ABC

Dick Bremer, longtime Twins play-by-play announcer, was elected to the team’s Hall of Fame on Friday, January 23.

Bremer’s 40 seasons (1983-85, 1987-2023) behind the mic make him the longest-tenured TV broadcaster for a single team in Major League Baseball history.

In 2013, Bremer earned a Silver Circle Emmy for broadcast excellence and was inducted into the Minnesota Museum of Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Bremer’s voice has been a staple for generations of Twins fans, and this latest honor cements his legacy with the team.

On Saturday, July 11, Bremer will be inducted during a ceremony at Target Field when the Twins host the Los Angeles Angels.
