A weekend disaster for both the Iowa State and Iowa men’s basketball teams. The 4th-ranked Cyclones lost for the first time at home this season, 82-73, to No. 16 Texas Tech. The Red Raiders were hot from all over the field, shooting 58.5% for the game and an impressive 14-29 from behind the three-point line. The Cyclones fall to 24-5 overall and 11-5 in the Big 12 Conference with two games to play in the regular season. Iowa fell short at Penn State, losing 71-69. The Hawkeyes couldn’t stop a hot shooting Nitany Lions team. The Hawks are now 20-9 overall and 10-8 in the Big Ten Conference. Are they still a lock for the NCAA Tournament, or have they moved to the Bubble?
