For the first time since 2016, the Northern Iowa Panthers are dancing in the NCAA Tournament. UNI wins the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament, beating Illinois-Chicago 84-69. The Panthers never trailed in the game. Trey Campbell with a team-high 23 points. UNI hit 12 three-pointers in the game and outrebounded the Flames 26-22. It’s a busy show, we will be talking about the Iowa men wrapping up the regular season, taking on Nebraska. The Iowa women in the Big 10 Tournament championship game against UCLA.

Jeff has been around athletics his entire lifetime. Jeff played baseball as a teen, served as a coach at junior high, high school and junior college levels. He worked in newsprint and digital media for more than three decades across Iowa (Northeast, Central, and the heart of Northwest Iowa) where he calls home. He is the winners of numerous INA (Iowa Newspaper Association) awards in coverage, writing, and photography. Jeff served on all-state high school voting meetings for summer and fall sports. Jeff’s favorite sport is baseball, and he’s been an rabid Minnesota Twins fan since 1972. Jeff is a grandfather of two (Arliegh, Aloni) father of two (Ashley, Alex) and brother to two sisters (Jean, Jenni).
