It’s conference tournament time! Iowa and Iowa State will be in actionon Wednesday morning. The Iowa Hawkeyes play in the first game of the day at the Big 10 Tournament. Iowa tips off against Maryland at 11 AM. Maryland beat Oregon on Tuesday, 70-60, to advance. The two teams split the season series, each winning on its home court. The 7th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones face Arizona State in the Big 12 Tournament. The game starts at 11:30 AM. Iowa State beat the Sun Devils in the last regular-season game. The rematch comes at a time when there are reports that ASU will part ways with head coach Bobby Hurley at the end of the season. The Sun Devils beat Baylor on Tuesday to keep their season alive.

He is the winners of numerous INA (Iowa Newspaper Association) awards in coverage, writing, and photography. Jeff served on all-state high school voting meetings for summer and fall sports. Jeff’s favorite sport is baseball, and he’s been an rabid Minnesota Twins fan since 1972. Jeff is a grandfather of two (Arliegh, Aloni) father of two (Ashley, Alex) and brother to two sisters (Jean, Jenni).
