The brackets are locked in and the Cyclones, Hawkeyes, and Panthers are dancing! All three teams play Friday in separate regions. Iowa State draws the 2-seed vs. Tennessee State, Iowa is a 9-seed vs. Clemson, and UNI gets the 12-see vs. St. John’s. On the women’s side, Iowa gets the 2-seed and will host FDU in Iowa City. The Iowa State women draw the 8-seed against Syracuse. The madness is here and we break it all down!

Jeff has been around athletics his entire lifetime. Jeff played baseball as a teen, served as a coach at junior high, high school and junior college levels. He worked in newsprint and digital media for more than three decades across Iowa (Northeast, Central, and the heart of Northwest Iowa) where he calls home. He is the winners of numerous INA (Iowa Newspaper Association) awards in coverage, writing, and photography. Jeff served on all-state high school voting meetings for summer and fall sports. Jeff’s favorite sport is baseball, and he’s been an rabid Minnesota Twins fan since 1972. Jeff is a grandfather of two (Arliegh, Aloni) father of two (Ashley, Alex) and brother to two sisters (Jean, Jenni).
