It’s official, Ben Jacobson is leaving Northern Iowa to be the new Head Coach at Utah State. The Aggies are moving to the Pac-12 Conference and have lots of NIL money to work with.
Ben has turned down jobs in the past, but after 20 years as the Panthers Head Coach and 25 years overall, he feels now is the time to make a move. He leaves as the all-time winningest coach in UNI history. Because of his contract structure, Utah State does not have to pay for a contract buyout.
