The Michigan Wolverines win the NCAA Basketball Tournament. Beating UCONN 69 to 63. It’s the first national title for the Maze and Blue since 1989, and the first for Head Coach Dusty May. An incredible turnaround for Michigan, just two years ago, it finished the regular season with an 8-24 record. In a sign of the times in college athletics, the Wolverines are the first team in history to win a national title with five transfers in the starting lineup. Speaking of transfers, the transfer portal is now open. Expect a massive number of players to start looking for a new place to play. The women’s portal opened on Monday, and there are already 1100 players who have submitted their names. College basketball might be over, but it’s never too early to start talking college football, Spring football that is. Northern Iowa Head Coach, Todd Stepsis joins the show.
