The NCAA Tournaments become cash cows for the Big Ten Conference. Fielding both the men’s and women’s champions, and nine men’s teams and 12 women’s teams, the Conference is bringing in an estimated $69.4 million in revenue. $63 million of that total comes from the men’s side.
To put this total number in perspective, the SEC pockets $56.2 million. The Big 12 is $49.9 million, the ACC is $34.2 million, and the Big East Conference is $22.2 million.
