Heelan’s Melina Snoozy commits to Iowa State

SIOUX CITY, IA (KCAU) – Big news out of Bishop Heelan over the weekend. Star girls basketball guard Melina Snoozy announced that she has committed to Iowa State University!

Snoozy had several offers to choose from, such as Iowa, Nebraska, and TCU. But the junior committed her talents to Ames.

This season, the Cyclone commit averaged 21 points and 8 rebounds a game, while leading the Crusaders to the state semifinal round.
