Brendan Sorsby, one of the most sought-after quarterbacks in the transfer portal this past offseason, has entered a rehabilitation facility for gambling addiction.
The move raises a lot of red flags, and the NCAA is taking notice. Sources tell ESPN that Sorsby bet on Indiana football when he was a freshman with the Hoosiers in 2022. He transferred to Texas Tech in January after starring at Cincinnati.
Depending on what the NCAA uncovers, Sorsby’s season with the Red Raiders and his remaining college career could be in jeopardy.
