The Iowa Hawkeyes rally to beat Illinois on the first day of the Big 10 Baseball Tournament in Omaha, Nebraska, 10-6. The Hawks advance to play Michigan State on Wednesday. A win and Iowa advances to the quarterfinal round to play USC; a loss and they drop into the losers’ bracket game.
Iowa fell behind early to the Illini, giving up four runs in the first inning. The Hawks did not lead until the seventh inning, when they scored five runs to take a 10-6 lead.
