Sorsby, an admitted gambling addict, bet on Indiana games when he played for the Hoosiers. He transferred from Cincinnati to Texas Tech for his final year. Last month, the NCAA ruled him ineligible, saying he should never play another down of college football. The NCAA says the ruling corrupts the integrity of sports.
