The conference’s executive board will meet with Yormark and review options moving forward. Texas Tech has been defiant, saying it would consider legal action if athletic programs and/or conferences try to exclude them from competition or hinder their scheduling. The World Cup begins Thursday with Mexico vs. South Africa. The USA plays Friday and Iowa Everywhere’s Happy Hour will be live at 6:30 p.m. downtown at the street watch party on Court Avenue (between 3rd and 4th Street).
