* Denotes NFC North matchup
Week 1 @ Minnesota Vikings
The Packers will begin the season away from Lambeau Field for the 11th time in the last 14 seasons, and they will do so with an NFC North opponent in Minnesota. The Packers and Vikings split the 2025 season series, winning the Week 12 game at home and losing the regular season finale on the road. Minnesota added former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray to the room alongside 2024 first-round pick J.J. McCarthy.
Week 2 @ New York Jets
After an impressive 2026 Draft, the New York Jets are an intriguing game on the schedule. With just one 10-win season over the last 15 years, New York has been through six head coaches and more than a dozen different starting quarterbacks (including Aaron Rodgers) over that span. But with a second year of Aaron Glenn at the helm, Geno Smith returning under center, and a new star-studded defense highlighted by top two pick David Bailey, it might be a tougher game than many realize.
Week 3 vs. Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta made a major push to the playoffs last season, finishing even on wins with the eventual playoff team Carolina, and Tampa Bay, grabbing four straight victories to end the year. With a new head coach Kevin Stefanski and quarterback tandem of Tua Tagovailoa and Michael Penix Jr., this is no walk-over week for Green Bay.
Week 4 @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Similar to Atlanta, Tampa Bay just missed out on the postseason via the tiebreak with Carolina. Baker Mayfield will be without one of his top receivers in Mike Evans who is now in San Francisco with the 49ers., but he will still have Chris Godwin and rookie sensation Emeka Egbuka, who was injured for much of last season, to choose from. With it being an afternoon game in September in Florida, the heat could play a big role in determining a winner in Week 4.
Week 5 vs. Chicago Bears
This game will be circled on every NFL calendar ahead of next season. It’s a Packers vs. Bears rematch that produced three separate cinematic finishes that saw Green Bay lose two–including the NFC Wild Card game that ended their season. Though maybe more important than revenge is the highly anticipated return of Micah Parsons who is likely to be back on the field in Week 5.
Week 6 vs. Dallas Cowboys
Another Micah-driven storyline will be told in Week 6 where he faces his former team for the second time, but the first at Lambeau Field. Last season, the Packers and Cowboys finished their Week 4 Sunday Night Football matchup by playing a 40-40 tie.
Week 7 @ Detroit Lions
The Packers dominated both matchups against Detroit in the 2025 season, despite playing a close Thanksgiving game at Ford Field. The first of the two was Week 1 last season in Parsons’ first game as a Packer, making a game-defining sack of Jared Goff late in the contest. In their second matchup, it was the unlikely receiving hero Dontayvion Wicks (who now plays for the Philadelphia Eagles) catching two touchdowns in the win.
Week 8 vs. Carolina Panthers
In a second Thursday night football game in just four weeks, the Packers will once again be home in a primetime matchup, this time against a team that stole a win from them in Week 9 last season at Lambeau. That early November day was one controlled by running back Rico Dowdle and the run-game, scurrying for 163 yards and the only two Panther-touchdowns of the day in a 16-13 win.
Week 9 @ New England Patriots
Green Bay will take a trip to New England to face the defending AFC Champion Patriots and star-in-the-making quarterback Drake Maye. It will also be the return of new Packers special teams coordinator Cam Achord and matchup with former wide receiver Romeo Doubs.
Week 10 vs. Minnesota Vikings
The fourth NFC North game of the year will be the second with Minnesota and will be at home at Lambeau Field before the Bye Week.
Week 11 BYE
The Packers Bye week in 2025 was in Week 4, much earlier than this upcoming season. Dealing with injuries late in the year, a later Bye could be a useful tool for a Green Bay team eager to be higher than a 7-seed in the NFC postseason picture.
Week 12 @ Los Angeles Rams
Happy Thanksgiving!!–almost. The Packers’ longest road trip of the regular season comes after a road matchup and bye week to face the Rams on Netflix on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It’s another primetime matchup for the Packers, increasing the counter to three in the first 11 games. It is a must-watch with two of the best quarterbacks in the NFC, 2025 NFL MVP Matthew Stafford and Jordan Love, battling it out in a potential playoff matchup.
Week 13 @ New Orleans Saints
New Orleans was the bottom of the NFC South last season, otherwise known as the worst division in football. The Saints are quarterbacked by Tyler Shough, with last year’s starter Spencer Rattler and former Jets and Denver Broncos Zach Wilson backing him up. This could be a game where the Packers defense eats up the Saints offense and heads home with a statement win.
Week 14 vs. Buffalo Bills
Two weeks after facing an MVP quarterback, the Packers will face another one when they host the Buffalo Bills. Josh Allen has arguably been the best quarterback in the league over the last five seasons, tallying 208 total touchdowns since 2021. 42 more than the next best tally. If both teams follow a collision course to February, it could be a future Super Bowl matchup.
Week 15 vs. Miami Dolphins
Now THIS is the game everyone in Green Bay is excited for. It will be the return of former Packers defensive coordinator and current Miami head coach Jeff Hafley, and former director of player personnel and current Dolphins general manager Jon-Eric Sullivan. Not to mention the return of Jordan Love’s backup quarterback last season, Malik Willis in a pivotal late-season matchup at Lambeau Field.
Week 16 @ Chicago Bears
Another late-season game in Chicago will certainly call for more late-game drama between two division foes in the Packers’ fifth NFC North matchup of the year.
Week 17 vs. Houston Texans
This could end up being the Packers’ final primetime game of the season facing another potential playoff team in the Houston Texans. Quarterbacked by CJ Stroud, the offense is potent when it needs to be, but it’s the defense teams need to be worried about. In 2025, Houston was the NFL’s no. 2 scoring defense (17.4) and led the league with four different players recording four or more interceptions. Jordan Love and the offensive line will have to work as a tandem to prevent sacks and limit poor passing decisions or it will be a long night at Lambeau.
Week 18 @ Detroit Lions

The regular season finale will be against a hungry Lions team the Packers defeated twice last season. It will be their final NFC North matchup in the same week the Bears play the Vikings making for a jam-packed, drama filled Week 18.
